How can i improve the upload speed of my cable modem?

I have a good download speed, but the upload isnt good, is there a way to improve it?

umm search around for some registry hacks most of them help only w/ the download speed but some might do a lil for the upload
umm most cable providers severely limit your upload speed to about 100k so that you are not tempted to badly to run a server off of it and most users don't send much more than email and url addresses when they click on links so they dont' really need it

There are also things called cable modem uncappers. All they do is delete the limit that your isp puts on the modem, so you can use the full power of the modem.

cable uncappers are bs.. since the isp can easily cap you again.. and i just don't trust those progs... tried too many of them
