How can i get the desktop icon back on my quicklaunch bar in W2k?

this has me stumped....any other program icon you can just drag and drop on there....i deleted the desktop icon thinking i'll put it back later and now I fuxored. Any pointers?

Here's the target for that shortcut:

C:\Documents and Settings\*Your Windows user name*\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

The Application Data folder is hidden, so either set Windows to show hidden files and folders or enter the file path by hand. Then just create a shortcut to the Show Desktop target in the Quick Launch folder and cut and paste it back into the quick launch bar.

Search for the file "Show Desktop" once you found it, just create a shortcut to it on the quicklaunch bar...

yeah, I had tried this, but the quicklaunch icon was completely gone....however, I just realized i could just as easliy grab one from another account so its all good---in case any one else has this prob...
