How can i get the Dell.com discounts ?

Hey, i wanna buy a HD 3870, but in dell.com it's like U$ 270. but someone sent me a link with discouts, and the video card was like 220 U$. How can i get that link again and why is it discouted ?

Coupons change often, sometimes they are only good for a day.

yes, but yesterday it was 270 too, but somehow without coupons i got like 50 U$ discount, it sudently appeared there..... and i don't know how and why. maybe i entered in a "specia" llink...

dell constantly has "deals" on their site... 50% of the time items are on sale

Its part of their sales approach. It is also a method for them to undercut their distributers on parts that they make (like monitors).

The deal is over now, you will have to wait until they have another one.

for the duration of the deal they had 50$ off on any 3870 and 8800GT cards (from several manufacturers). I got my MSI OC 8800GT for 207 + tax (cause I am in texas) but with free shipping. 225.15$ total.
