How can I get rid of Office XP?

I uninstalled it but when I re-installed the suite it kept the same old settings. It makes no sense! I used WinXP's uninstall routine; this thing is driving me crazy!

Is there a diff. program that would do the task? Help, help!

Thanks,

Nurse

he is correct, of course.

but since it's kinda late, i'll help

when you uninstall office, it still leaves a folder with old settings on the hard drive..you have to get rid of EVERYTHING...even sometimes cleaning out the registry...in order to fully remove it

but for your case, i think simply getting rid of the program files folder, and doing a search for "office" and deleting those folders that seem to have pertained to the old install would work fine.
