How can i get my Readyscan 636i scanner working under XP?

Apparently the lazy jerks at NEC decided not to make updated drivers for XP for this model scanner. So what can i do? Are there any generic drivers that will allow it to work under XP?

OK, so if you found these drivers why wouldn't you post the link?

I could search driver guides and google all day and come up with win 98 drivers.

now show me a link to some xp drivers.

Have you tried using the winxp program compatibility wizard with the win 98 drivers. That might work

that only works on software, not drivers. you have to do the hardware compatability troubleshoot thingy for something like this, theres a sectin just for scanners, and the response you can enetr when nothing works is "its still not working and ill contact my device manufacturer for support"
