No offense, but please make sure you fully understand the reimbursement rules before you run out in a rush and get $800 worth of glasses. There could be some fine print there which might mean you don't get the entire amount covered.

Thanks for the warning, but a friend of mine already did it no questions asked.

Thats actually how I found out about the program. 🙂

my company has a pretty sweet vision plan too, not as good as yours though I don't think. I just ordered new specs on Friday, the frame lists for 275 but I only had to pay 60 of that.

I was going to second the WalMart idea.... but see you don't have vision centers in yours. In my experience (Olean, NY), they've been extremely professional, took their time, and I've gotten the best pairs of glasses in my life from there.... I wish I had gone there years ago. What prompted the change from my Sterling Optical was a "you'll get used to them." Quick research showed that my prescription was *NOT* recommended in a polycarbonate lens because of the exact problem I was having.

I'm in the same boat as you... have to use the $$ by a certain date... I get prescription sunglasses, swimming goggles, snorkeling mask, polarized prescription sunglasses, etc. to use up the money.
