How can I get a myspace layout like this?

My band is almost forced to work with myspace (against my will) but since i know more about pc's than most of our 'group', im in charge of this retarded myspace thing.

I want to know what this guy did to get a myspace layout like he did. I am good w/photoshop and am willing to learn a little flash to make whats on that site.. however, i dont know any sort of coding or anything to change myspace and its layout like that.

i hate myspace too, so please (I know asking this will get reverse results).. but please post serious posts.. you don't have to spread the word of hatred towards this site. make another thread for that. please just keep this thread geared towards "layouts" such as the one provided in the link. appreciated much. thanks

I looked at some of the flash source code, it shows a website in there... but its a file upload resource site.. nothing that would generate this type of page..

any ideas? I'd like to construct something like this but want to know exactly what he did to make it look the way it does

OP, doesn't actually look like much flash but rather a lot of JScript and maybe DHTML. look at the source. it would tell you. that or take SampSon's advice.

dude, just grab the html codes and redirect everything you want to be different.

frontprage, copy and paste and live it well

anyway, there are programs out there that do the coding for you

but personally, it would be way more awesome to just make your own website. make it anyway you want without restrictions, only downfall is that you may not be on the best network if you don't know how to advertise...

CSS... grabbing the html code wont work. Go learn css and then you'll be able to do it.

I was thinking about taking a CSS class in college next semester.. other than myspace, does it have many useful purposes? or would it be smarter to just take an html or java course?
