No idea if this will work, but it's worth a try?
(XP Pro machine)
right click on My Computer, click properties
select Hardware tab
click Device Manager
look for something under Human Interface Devices (it may list two)
double click on one of them (probably Human Interface Device)
click the driver tab
click Driver Details
copy the files listed there to your other computer in a file on the desktop, then when you plug in the controller, tell it the files are in that folder.
If you click Driver Details and it says "No driver files are required or...." then try the other one.
I have no idea if this will work, btw. Just something to try.
