How can I force my Inet connection's proxy server to update it's cached page?

I've got a problem. Actually, it's an addiction: I can't stop visiting www.vg-network.com for updates on classic gaming news at least 5 times a night! ;) Anyway, there are several terminals here at work that I can stop and use when I have free time to check up on various news (Including the said site above). VG-Network has not updated since December 20th. It's had daily updates, and I can see them from any other connection (Including at home), but no computer in this entire building can refresh the page! Even my personal laptop that has a cached copy of the latest page still refreshes to the old Dec 20th page. What can I do? All other pages update correctly (zdnet, anandtech, etc). How can a proxy server just "decide" to no longer update? I can't circumvent the proxy because of the network's configuration (NAT, firewall, etc), so that's not an option.

Nope. Formatting an entire PC and starting fresh wouldn't either! I've brought in my laptop that way :)

Err, I can't seem to verify the problem with a *ahem* "work related" site :)

dont know the answer, but you can just just set up some sort of remote connnection to your home pc and look it up that way.

EDIT...nevre noticed the bit about NAT...forget what i said :)

Aqualize: I'll try that, thnx.
robg1701: That's easy to get around. There are plenty of free sub-domains for home PCs :)
I used to use czroe.homepc.org for $10 a year because my IP changed every now and then but I used it less than I thought.

EDIT: I think I "brute forced" the server into checking for an update, because after trying as many PCs as I could in the building it finally refreshed with the last week and a half of updates :) But I'll never know if the server starts doing it again until I check from home...

Oh yeah, thats not what i meant...i figured the NAT would quite posibly f$ck with it, but thats probably just for the way my uni has set up their residence network, since my friends cant connect to me for thigns like VNC but can for FTP etc. I do exactly what i was suggesting for thigns like ftp, reading my mail etc and im on 56K. It can be had for free no problem... www.dyndns.org
