How can I find out who a liscense plate # belongs to?

I don't think that's public domain. If you had a friend in the Police Dept. they could find out.

Did you ever find that little prick who stole the money out of your Pay Pal account?

the liscense plate I have relates to that. The plate is from wisconson, I'm in IL.

Hmm...It looks like I could claim it is authorized in connection with a "civil....preceeding". Either that or I'd have to find a PI and have them request it for me.

You would be positively amazed what a professional letter + a check for $30 made out to the DMV can accomplish. I've received lots of information that is supposedly not 'public'. heh

Lucky - I'm in Wisconsin and have police contacts (I used to do armed security and hung out with them all the time). I can probably get a plate run for you, but it might take me a while. I have to track down the email address for one of the cops.

(I could call one and have it for you pretty much instantly, but he really wants me to fix his computer and he doesn't have my new number since I moved and I don't want to fix the stupid thing anymore). (Never got paid the first and second times when I was promised something, so now I can be a prick).
