I have this 4.3gig file rared up, but I can't decompress it; winrar gives a write error: only ntfs supports files larger than 4gig.

I am using win2k and fat32. Is there anyway I can decompress this file?

I didn't think you could have a single file bigger than 4 GB on NTFS. Could be wrong if I am, what is the max file size?

Cant have a file bigger than 1 gig on fat32
FAT 32 can have a file size of up to 4GB.

NTFS can have a file up to the maximum volume size of 2TB. I Googled up a handy chart that compares various flavors of file system.
