Are you having racing thoughts (or just trouble "turning your brain off") when you lie down, or are simply not tired?
If the former, it might be related to anxiety and/or insomnia. If the latter, it's probably just a disruption of your sleep-wake cycle that should resolve itself once your normal bedtime comes around.
