FARMINGTON, Connecticut (AP) -- Charles Rocket, a comedian and actor who appeared on "Saturday Night Live" and had roles in a variety of movies and television series, committed suicide, the state medical examiner has ruled.

Rocket, 56, whose real name was Charles Claverie, was found dead in a field near his home in Canterbury on October 7. His throat had been cut, the medical examiner said.

"An investigation determined there was no criminal aspect to this case," State Police Sgt. J. Paul Vance said Monday.

Yup. You can bleed to death for quite sometime. Why you would choose to end yourself that way (slowly, painfully, aware of everything until you pass out) is beyond me though. I'd prefer a .44 to the temple. No worries about a botched attempt that leaves you crippled or seriously F'ed up for the rest of your life in an institution.

actually shooting through your temple is one of the easiest ways to fvck up killing yourself, what happens if that most people flinch and move their head back and all you end up doing is blowing off your fontal lobe, which you can live without, however you will most likely be nice and dissfigured

putting it under your chin is also bad because most time you only manage to blow off your face but you still live

the only sure fire way to do it in gun in the mouth pointed tward the back of your head angled slightly upward

Still can mess it up that way too. Seriously, if you want to go out, the best, simplest, least painful, and most likely chance of it happening is the exact same way the state does it to execute criminals. With drugs. Make sure you take enough and that's it. No muss no fuss. If you really feel kind hearted, put on a diaper to catch everything once your body releases all muscles so there is zero clean up for the person that has to clean up your carcass.

over the counter pills are a nasty way to go. your body tries to get rid of the poision by vomiting so you end up choking to death in a puddle of your own vomit. or in the case of acetometaphen, it will destroy you liver and you'll take a week or so to die. all the while the waste accumulates in your body and your skin turns yellow.

wrist slitting is most ineffective as well.

Who said to use over the counter crap? Order the stuff over the internet where you can get the good stuff. Like I said, if you are serious then do it right.
