Their defense is pretty good, and until Hoyer got hurt, they were rather surprising.
Campbell looks serviceable now. I just hope he can get them over that 5.5 win total! :awe:

I'm not saying they are bad. But...for God's sake...they are better than the Ravens?
Never would have saw that coming.
@AdamSchefter Sounds like New England close to trading for Eagles DT Isaac Sopoaga.
20 minutes to go before the trade deadline is up and nothing has happened yet besides rumors.

Broncos are gonna get Jared Allen
/crosses fingers
Ray Rice was hurt and hasn't been producing. He says he is healthy, so who knows for this week, but if he doesn't do something, the Browns certainly can take this game.
And no other trades.
Seems like the Seahawks wanted Allen. That would have been a scary defense for sure.
I also really hope the Bears beat the Packers, if for no other reason than to really shack that division up. 3 teams at 5-3?
Seahawks dropped out early, the Broncos were the only team in the running over the last two hours or so.
Oh well.
I hate the trade deadline in the NFL. Trades never happen. Needs to be more like the other sports, namely the NHL
I don't mind the trade deadline because you can't "abuse" it. Say a team like Denver loses Manning late in the season. Is it fair for them to trade for a good QB that didn't make the playoffs?
I don't think you understand what I was saying. I was implying that the deadline for the NFL sucks because nobody trades in the NFL. The Trent Richardson blockbuster that happened is the kind of thing that is practically unheard of.
In the other sports, there is nearly always a blockbuster trade around and leading up to the deadline. In the MLB you see it, more so in the NBA, and then even more so in the NHL.
Scale is something like this
NHL = dozens of trades around the deadline
NBA = usually a few good trades going down
MLB = also a few trade
NFL = 1 trade a year

I don't think anyone could have anticipated how badly injuries would devastate this team. Of the 5 losses, 3 of them could still easily have been won without injuries, maybe 4 (Roddy White was playing hurt against the Saints, several starters have been out in each game since, 4 of the 5 losses were decided in the last minute and by a touchdown or less). Sunday was just bad though. As a loyal Falcons fan I hope it'll be looking up from here, but the offensive line just sucks right now and that's killing us.
And I still have 4 season ticket home games to go to.
The Packers seem to be doing OK with devastating injuries....just sayin. 🙂
LOL @ OP's "how about them Cowboys". The Cowboys fans at work are so quiet and sad. I did watch the last few minutes of the game and the defense blew it, especially when Stafford sneaked a fast one on them at the goal line.
Oh the troll pops his head out of his ass. Good to see you, Svnla.
