How big PSU do I need?

OCed 3500+ and 6600GT, the 2HD, and otherwise std components.

Will a cheap 400W thermaltake that came with my case be fine or should I upgrade to a 460W?

If it has at least 18 amps rating on the 12v rail, you may be fine. Any problems will result in random reboots or lockups, but those can also be caused by memory timings.

Actually it's the Tsunami Dream, but if the 430W gets tripped my 400W won't stand a chance. Sigh, time for an upgrade. Thanks for your help everybody.

hey i dono if my PSU is limiting my ocing i think it might.. would u guys be able to tell me if these voltages are ok?

12+ 12.46
3.3v 3.09~3.03
Vcc 5.01
5vsb 4.96

i dono my 3.3v looks low.. would this effect my ocing?

Soprano? With the 430w? It's rated at 18A but I can trip it with a 15A dummy load. It won't hold up well to a 3500+ overclocked. [If you run into stability problems get one of these.

It's quieter, way more efficient (APFC), and is rated at 22A. And it will survive 23A of dummy load.

If you're going to spend $75, then you really should get this unit. Reseller rating of the store is ~8. I've been using this PSU, and I have to say it's the most solid thing I've ever seen, and supplies more than enough amperage on the 12v rail. 33A to be exact. This thing will power just about anything you can throw at it and is the best value in the sub $75 category, IMO.

That seasonic tornado is a good ps, but I don't know how well it will perform overclocking. Also, check your new board for a 24 pin connector before purchasing the power supply.

The Seasonic or Enermax is probably your best bet. The Antec TruePowers are very nice but are out of date (hence the imminent release of TruePower2.0), as they have strong 3.3V and 5V rails but a weaker 12V rail, dont rule them out.
