How big of a powersupply do I need?

I'm planning just in case I'm not able to get my hands on a conroe at launch I'm going to get a marked down Pentium D 805 oc it and pair it with a couple of 7900GTs for SLI. Would I need a powersupply larger than 500watts? If so, what brand?

An Antec TruePower 550 will work fine.

Either of the truepower 550's? Such as the total control or the normal one?

You need something with a minimum of 16A on one of the +12v rails for that Pentium D. That is the minimum spec that Intel quotes; so if you are overclocking, you'll want more, for stability.
