How big is your Steam folder?

83.3GB steam folder with roughly 44 games/demos/mods installed. There's at least double that still not installed, but I get a lot of steam's package game deals, especially the indie and adventure game packs. I have all the telltale, unreal, and valve games for instance, which could probably account for at least half the games.

82.2GB worth

Probably have around 75% of them installed. The only really large ones that aren't installed are Stalker SoC and Left 4 Dead. I actually wish you could remove games from the list that aren't installed. There are a bunch or Pop Cap games that I don't like and never intend to install on there. Got them as part of a Mumbo Jumbo package, which was really cheap even considering I didn't want half the titles in the package.

Use that to figure out the total worth of all the Steam games you own. Last I checked was after the first day of holiday sales. At that point I was at $423 or so. I've bought a couple other sales games since so I'm probably close to $450 now.

I'll edit in my Steam folder size when I get home.

Here's my calculator: no matter how many Steam games you have in your account, it's all worth exactly $0.00. There is no resell of these games so how can they be worth anything if you can't get anything for them? 🙄

Go take your anti-Steam trolling elsewhere please.

If you want to resell your games, dont use Steam. If you do, bask in the benefits of the best digital distribution system available for retail games to currently.

Sure. But your games still aren't worth anything. If that site could tell you how much you paid for it all that might be interesting tool to help manage your money or give you something to brag about. As something that tells you how much your games are "worth", it's a worse measure than the size of your Steam folder.

My games are only worth 9.8GB, btw.

For fuck's sake, it's just having some fun comparing numbers that most anybody knows mean nothing. Who honestly cares how much space my games take up on my HDD anyway? It's a pointless conversation and you guys are trying to get all serious on it with anti-steam sentiments. Way to be "that guy". You guys are black holes of fun.

PS - 20 games installed for 123GB.

Wow, you guys are really sensitive. I love Steam and I buy pretty much all my PC games on it but when it comes down to it the games are worth $0 right after you buy them because you can't resell them or transfer them. I was simply stating a fact. Don't get your panties in a bunch.

If that's true, can I have the username and password to your steam account? If it's not worth anything to you, then you shouldn't mind if I use it freely.

uh, not sure how accurate that is. I put in my steam id (CPA) and it gave me some list that isn't close to mine.

edit: okay, when I put in my numeric profile id it gave me the right list: $505.82
