Sean Connery is kind of like Chuck Norris... it will take something on the magnitude of a nuclear holocaust to take him down.

So when it happens, I don't think I'll be all that concerned about his funeral.
 
It'll probably be about the same scale as when Frank Sinatra died. I'd expect about a week of clip montages and TV and radio specials, and then it'll die down. There won't be a gigantic media circus like there is with MJ. Not only is Connery not as insanely famous, but he's not young either and his death will probably be expected well ahead of time.
