Just curious to know how big everyone's arms are.

5'11, 189lb, lifting for 6 months, ~14% BF

Left cold flex:
14.75"

Right cold flex:
15.5"

I still think they're twigs. Hoping to hit 17" in 2010.

I haven't measured my biceps. They're probably like 12" or something though :p

14.75" for both, but I don't do any bicep-specific training. Pull-ups are about it.

~18" 6' ~215lbs I'm a beast tho :) I never do any isolation exercises. The only thing I do is pull ups like someone above said. I might do a bb split and get them up to 20" lol... I doubt it.

Bicep isolations exercises don't necessarily make your biceps big. Believe it or not pull ups, squats, and deadlifts can actually increase your arm size much better than doing 100s of preacher curls or some crap like that.
16.5" btw. 6'1" 185 .....but then again I bench more than I squat...lol.

Wouldn't your triceps be a much larger factor in determining your arm size anyway?

Also, as TheNinja said, I definitely feel my biceps pump after deadlifting, pullups, and standing rows. I do use a curl bar anyway, but I don't over do it since I already got a good workout from the other exercises.

Triceps are 2/3rds of the arm.

I measured for fun a month or so ago, 17", 5'10 200lbs, do not do any isolation stuff, triceps are a decent size from pressing/bench pressing. I think huge BB arms look retarded unless you have a massive back/neck/shoulders to go with it, which 99% of the arms/chest only creatine dudes do not.

15", 5' 9" 175lb

Boy did I feel like a tool measuring though. I also used my headphone cord and an online ruler so that might have contributed.

Not sure as I don't really care. I know they look big in the mirror. I'm more into total body fitness.

That's what people say when they when they know they aren't that big. It's like the chubby strong guy who says "I don't care about being ripped or having abs, I just want to be big". You care about having abs you just don't want to put the work in to get lean. Or they guy who says "I don't know how much I bench b/c I just care about being in shape and lifting for endurance.". Bullcrap, you care how much you bench, you just can't bench much. Believe me b/c I am/was one of those guys who doesn't squat and when asked used to say "i don't work on legs b/c I only care about beach muscles" :) In reality I was just to lazy to squat and hate doing it ;)

Are we talking inches in circumfrence here? I don't have a good measuring tape that will go around, only a heavy duty construction one, so I'll go ahead and ballpark at 3 inches diameter, so to get circumference I'll do pi x 3 which gives me 9.42 inches, fear me! :p

Well I may not win against anybody at an arm wrestling match, but if IT ever gets boring, I could make a good proctologist. :p

Edit: Never thought of just using a piece of wire around the arm then measure the wire... turns out I was off with my ball park figure calculations. My arms are 12'. That's a bit better. :p

I disagree. Although to some extent, just about everyone cares about their appearance, many people are not obsessed about it to the extent of knowing the exact size of their arms. Years back when I used to think weight training and bodybuilding were synonymous, I cared about the size of my arms, my six pack, shoulder striations, etc. Once I discovered that training to be able to do stuff (rather than just looking like you could) was way more rewarding, the fine details of my muscle size became far less important. My training goals now are about fitness and whatever I look like when I achieve those goals is fine by me. 15" arms or 18" arms? Who cares, as long as I can do pull-ups, climb, deadlift, etc. Now, obviously, this doesn't mean I don't care about my appearance at all (e.g. I wouldn't want to bulk to 300lbs just to boost my deadlift or have 10" arms to run fast), but this is still worlds different than training solely for vanity's sake.

And for the record, my arms are big. In some ways, they are actually annoyingly big, as many people notice them right away and assume that all I do at the gym is bicep curls.

I completely agree with this, I really don't care how big my arms are as long as they're strong enough to do what I need them to.

What bikris says. I'm a novice compared to you lot but since being taken over by the starting strength school of thought :) I've had a complete change of mindset. All I care about now is the amount I can lift as opposed to the size of my traps, biceps, etc. as it used to be before. Infact I almost hope that my arm size remains the same since it's much more fun to be able to lift more than guys much bigger than you (but having no knowledge of anything but BBing) and earn those sneaky looks of wonder ("hey what's up with that guy?") than to strut around with the biggest arms around.
