i'm looking at a timberland sweater online but I've never had their clothes before so I don't know what size to order. I have a few tommy, american eagle, and tommy sweaters and a medium fits well. When I think timberland i think urban which means oversized..should I stick with the medium or go for a small?

I think Timberland is the only clothing company left actually uses the right sizes. If you order a large you actually get a large cut. I swear places like American Eagle, AF, Eddie Bauer all undersize clothes. Maybe it's to save money or just so fat people can't where their clothes. I'm 6' and 155lbs. Not skinny, but thin build with broad shoulders. I wear a medium in Timberland and usually a large or X-large in American Eagle.

Mens clothes are getting as bad as womens.

How broad could your shoulders be? Only 155lbs; I'm 6'2", 218lbs and I wear those sizes. You must like baggy clothes. A large fits me really well and a XL has some room usually.

The Timberland will be a little bigger than the Tommy, but I don't think the difference is enough to make you get a smalller size...
