How bad would my Mustang get blown away?

94' Mustang V6 Automatic (it's not a Racing car so don't say anything)

this kid just got a

97 Eclipse 4cyl Turbo. Stick

He's bragging so BAD and it's PISSING ME OFF. He wants to race. how bad would i get blown away?

Based on his name - WHS (Whitehall High School?) Lacrosse (...) kid (kid)... I'd say he probably IS a juvenile. I have no idea who'd win, but I'd guess him. If you want to feel better about it though, you can race me. You'd win.

Has he done anything to it? It being a DSM, could be dangerous, but it's also a manual, so it'll depend a lot on how good/poor of a driver he is.

he is OBVIOUSLY referring to your cars ability to compete with the Eclipse and as such IT SUCKS. get over it or don't ask the question if you don't want to hear peoples opinions.

I'd say pass on the race unless you like to see how badly you get your butt handed to you. Just to give you an idea of how badly... I run a quarter mile in 15.668 seconds @ 88.395 MPH in my car. There has not been a single V6 Mustang in my area that can beat me. Maybe if they re-did the rear end on it, but most people don't buy a V6 Mustang to mod it. Now your Eclipse (GS-T or GS-X... you better pray for the GS-T for a lesser of humiliation because the GS-X is AWD) will be running (this is a ballpark figure out of my ass) somewhere around 13 seconds for a quarter mile. You do the math.

sorry but in my book a v6 mustang doesn't really qualify as a mustang. It's a V6 mustang and that's it.

Ford really did that car a disservice by making it with a V6 in it.

Now the 5.0 V8 Mustang LX I used to drive, that would have taken the eclipse no problem
