how bad on batteries are wireless keyboards?

anyone know? for some reason logitech's mice are usually rechargeable, but the keyboard in the same box is not. and does anyone know if they take AAs? could pick me up some rechargeable AAs pretty easily, i guess.

I bought my first wireless keyboard back in '00 (logitech cordless itouch). Been using it since then and have yet to change the batteries.

The wireless keyboard I use needs a recharge of the batteries every 3-4 months at earliest.
(an old iTouch Logitech model)

My MX duo keyboard is still on the original AA's, over a year IIRC.

My MS keyboards seem to need batteries about every 6 months or so...

i have belkin's wireless keyboard. i used rechargables and last time i put fresh ones in was over a year ago.
