I had to go to an Alcohol awareness class when I was 19 as a result for having beer in my car when I got pulled over. During the class there was a lot of information, and they said an average size male can drink up to 4 beers (or regular alcoholic drinks) a day but not to exceed 20 in a 7 day period without causing harm to the liver or other parts of the body. So aside from the extra calorie intake 2 a day is perfectly fine (although by some people's standards it makes you an alcoholic).

People don't understand alcoholism....many don't understand drinking in general thinking usually it's just a method to get intoxicated as fast as possible. For a few years I averaged 12 beers per day. Some questioned if I was an alcoholic. I can stop drinking at anytime though, I don't crave it and I can function fine without it. For the last year I have kept myself at about 12 a week as even though I can drink, it's really not good for me and eventually it would catch up.
When I am drinking it's the same as if I drink soda or water though...I am constantly drinking something. I go through about 12+ sodas a night if that's what I am drinking and about 2 gallons of water if I am drinking it.
I don't snack, but even at about 6 or so beers a week it's pretty hard to keep abs showing.
I always wondered why 95% of your posts were incoherent ramblings.Originally posted by: alkemyst

Abs showing is almost entirely related to bodyfat. Get it around 8% and they will be popping out.. 10-12% and they will still show.
Which is why it is funny to see fat people doing crunches to work on their six pack when they need to be doing cardio.
