Seriously though......... 5 days a week is too much........... your tri-glycerids must be through the roof. Maybe once or twice a week........ but if I was you I'd start brown baggin it.

Is there a way to measure my trygliceride level on my own ?

no.......... only a blood test through a clinic.

Aquaman
I remember taking my blood after eating Burger King one day and spinning it down for grins (we bio-nerds do stuff like that....plus I like to keep track of my cholesterol levels). You could acually see a cloudy layer of lipids (fat essentially) floating on top of the RBC's. Pretty gross.

Yeah.......... I had a nursing frined of mine tell me about taking blood samples from patients who have high cholesterol............. these guys gave blood samples that were milky red/pink :Q Pretty gross 😛 I had high cholesterol but I took niacin (get the flush free kind) and regular exercise. I was back in line pretty quick.

Total = 1440 kcal

That's a pretty hefty lunch to have 5 times a week, IMO.

Oh yeah.............. Drink the diet drink............that's 280 cals cut.......... not much but it helps.

Cut the fries and replace it with a bag of baked lays potato chips. You just went from 440 calories to ~150. And dump a boat load of fat in the process.

And, if you just had water or diet, along with the baked chips, you'd be down to around 800 calories for the meal.

I have fallen into a bad habbit of eating fast food (typically Wendy's) for lunch at work most days. I exercise regulary. Is this fast food habbit gonna harm me ?

yes it will harm you, but you can die rich after you sue the fast food industry.

Sheeeiiiit... during an avg week for lunch, I go to Wendy's, Taco Bell, Pizza, and Burger King. I'm still considered skinny.

Hockey is my only exercise and I take multi-vitamins/weight gainers/whey protein... is that good enough to offset it?

dont eat. work harder. STOP STEALING valuable time from your employer by stopping to eat lunch. -this message brought to you by the RIAA

years ago wendy's food used to be much better than all the other fast food places. now they're garbage grade, although still better than McD and Jacky Box

Apparently. It's all about calories in/calories out. Obviously you're either not eating all that much the rest of the day and/or exercising enough to offset the fast food. I eat what would be considered a hell of a lot by an average person, but I also ride my bike what would be considered a hell of a lot by an average person. 700-ish calories burned per hour on the bike at 10-15 hours per week will do that. 😉

The problem in most cases is that people eat junk and then are essentially sedentary so it's easy to take in more than you output on a daily basis. You don't appear to have that problem.

Some people (like you obviously) have a blast furnace of a Metabolism. That still won't help with Cholestoral though

So true. I'd suggest you get a blood test to check your cholestoral. Evnthough your thin & exercise does not mean you can't get hardening of the arteries.
