How Bad is driving a RWD Car in Rain/Snow?

I'd take my 86 Parsienne over my 91 Topaz in the snow any day, any year, any blizzard.

RWD really isn't that bad in the rain but I've been driving that way all my life. Snow depends on the snow.

It's fine in the rain. It wasn't with the old tires. Get good tires. I have Dunlup FM901s. Soft compound (supposed to matter even in the rain). 215/55-16.

You had 215s?? WTF? Mine came with 205s. Guess the previous owner skimped on the tires when they replaced it.

btw, the price you quoted for the 240SX seems fairly good. And they are easy to drive in the rain. is this the LE or SE model?

Just don't floor it like a fool, and you'll be fine. For what its worth, our car was driven everyday in Canadian winter (I'm in Toronto).

I use Blizzaks on my trans am and it drives fine in the snow. With decent summer tires rain should be no problem.

RWD is great in the rain. My IS has no problems in the rain, snow on the other hand is a pain.

I bought some snow times for this season though so everything thing should be great

If you're running stock 240sx with stock wheels, just get good all seasons. Those should be fine in the snow.

NOOES. Get dedicated snow tires. Big difference!

Remember, 240s don't have traction control like your IS!!
