Cheer up. It can and will only get worse.

Hahaha...kidding. Do you know anyone with a prepaid legal service? Perhaps you could ask them to inquire about your lease predicament for you. That way you're out no money and have a lawyer's opinion on what move, if any, you can make .

LOL..

Internet Forums Rule #1... If you're going to correct someones spelling/grammar, make sure yours is perfect. ;)

Yes, please do.

It's someone's, not someones. Get your head out of your a$$. ;)

Move one dude. Life is young. As long as you're don't sit there and whine about it all day, I'm sure you'll find some one to go in on the lease with you. Either that or what M4H always say "Kill yourself!" (don't do it, OK, we love ya).

Her and my name are still on it. Her's is crossed off and his written over it. Mine and her signature are at the bottom. Not his.

???

Phil

Thats kinda illegal... good luck man and what is it with women seeing other men but coming back to the one they dumped for some lovin??

<--- in the same boat as you with my ex.... not sure what to do about it...

Is this even a valid contract? I mean what can I seriously do with the paper? Wipe my behind with it?

Well you cant just scratch out one persons name and write in another... when you rented the apartment your woman and you sat down at the leasing office and signed the paper right? Now shes moved out and for some reason you think that you can just scratch her name out and write his in.... thats a no no and is not legal.. in the apartment managers mind your woman is still on the lease...

Oh well then I guess the guy is liable for the rest of the lease... he owes you... but the easiest way out of this for you is to find another roommate... breaking a lease can get very expensive...

Your situation doesnt mean sh|t to them honestly all they care about is the rent check every month... you should talk to them about it but dont expect any favors... once again good luck!
