I do it myself, shave my whole head on 2 guard. Scissors for around the ears and razer for neck using my hand for the line.

High and Tight, Skin, 2.

I go to a barbershop, not a 'premium brand', but not the Super Cuts type either. Privately owned, small.

I used to buzz it myself (#4 comb and an angled comb for the sides), but my wife hated the way it looked, so I went back to Magicuts where they cut it for $17 ($20 with the tip) a shot.

Started shaving it to stubble last November. Going bald, yay!

Was doing it once a week, now ever 3.5 days. I use a $100 Oster Fast Feed (get price raped in Canada). Works great, absolutely minimal pulling. Way better than the $20 POS Conair I got at crappy-tire.

Shave head down to 1/8". If usually start and my wife comes and finishes it off. For me it is about the convenience. I don't have the time to fuck around waiting for an appointment.

When I was younger and lived at home, and when I would come home from college, my mother would cut it. Then I started shaving my head and I did it myself for a few years. Now, I've grown my hear back out and I get it cut at a salon.
