Don't worry it's not your fault 🙂 I was quite busy at the time and never came to th forum to ask!

I paid for my DNS2GO when it went to a pay model, and didn't find out about this til about 2-3 weeks later either lol

If you don't have ads that go with dns2go, then you are better off. no-ip uses pop-up ads to pay for the free service.

I use no-ip occasionally (since I'm on dialup, it's only used for when I want somebody else to test something on my personal web server), and never remember getting any pop-ups with it. Perhaps they've got an "upgraded" client program now that serves ads?
