How are we not talking about this mentally deficient psychopath yet?

What a wonderful kid.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0h_EZTq2rM

Now I'm curious.

#1 Should the students laughing in the background be punished? I say yes.
#2 Should the student recording the incident be punished? I say yes.
#3 What should happen to Mr. Yapp?
#4 What should the teacher have done that he didn't. He can't lay hands on the kid, so he's kind of stuck.

That poor kid needs a hug and I'm pretty relieved this thread wasn't about me.

Wow, kid should be expelled. Clearly does not seem fit to be in a public setting. I feel bad for the teacher, he knows he can't really do much or he'll get sued.

It's a matter of time until that kid actually hurts someone though.

what the hell was that about?

the teacher now has a recording of a student acting like a bitch, he did the right thing

solution: hold his diploma until he replaces the swivel nozzle and makes a public apology to the faucet and the garbage can

I stand behind this. He should need to make the apology on stage at the graduation. When they call him up they wheel in the garbage on a small platform (will just look better presentation wise that way) and he has to actually say sorry to it, after the host explains the situation and a video is shown to the audience. Then he also has to apologize to the teacher, who would happen to be the person holding his diploma to hand it to him. If he does not comply his diploma gets put in the garbage and it's wheeled away and he's asked to step down from the stage, as they call the next person.

That's poetic. I like it. The only problem is that if he knows what's going to be happening in advance, you can be certain he and some other kids will concoct some plan to f it up. Because, teenagers.

I hate sounding like an old fart, but I miss the old days. I have fond memories of the geography teacher (who doubled as a football coach) picking up a kid's desk and flinging it across the portable. He also used to make kids do push ups in front of the class if they mouthed off. Then there was the administrator who body slammed a kid in the cafeteria who was beating up some other kid.

I was scared shitless of teachers when in school. The way it should be.

That's just the other side of the same bit of stupidity that makes one person threatening physical harm against the other the law of the classroom.

I miss the day when people had some sense of decency and respect for one another. Clearly, that's long passed.

That's gone because the parents at home won't take responsibility for the kid and penalize them. My children would give away every one of their worldly possessions to charity and sleep on the floor at home while they did community service and waited HAND AND FOOT on that teacher until they figured out just how badly they screwed up. But then, I believe in personal responsibility. So does my wife.

Really can't fathom people pining for "good old days" where stuff like this (absolutely did happen, just because you can't come to grips with the fact that you're made very aware of lots of stuff you used to not be exposed to, as well as the fact that you were younger and thus likely not even concerned) "didn't happen" because power trips by authority figures who were every bit as petty and often far more insane "kept people in line".

Kid is a punkass and should be made to apologize and given a suitable punishment.

So what happened to the kid and what happened to the teacher? Any updates? Also I notice this generation every white kid is saying the N word why is that? Is this a USA thing or? In Sweden, the N word is un heard of. I say it again today's generation is messed up I think we need nuking.

WTF, so one kid acts like a giant douchebag and a whole generation needs to be killed? Overreact much?

Also, uh, are you really Swedish? Because I see quite a bit of debate about this and have heard it remarked multiple times before that the Swedes actually use that term quite openly/freely, but there's debates about translations (and intent) and there was a pretty big row about the name of a certain chocolate delicacy.

SJW's happened, basically. Everyone is a special snowflake now.

That's rich considering your religious persecution complex. Not that I'm surprised with your rampant boldfaced ignorance and hypocrisy.

Why didn't you say so in the first place, we need to get you a trophy ASAP! Oh, I know we'll get you one of those mugs, that say "World's Greatest Dad" so everyone can know what a standup proactive parent you are. Because you and your wife are apparently literally the last ones in the whole world! Give me a break. There were just as many shitty parents back in your day. I don't even know why you're copping that without knowing what the parents did in this situation anyway, but hey don't let me stop you ranting just like people ranted about your generation and the ones before that and every subsequent one.

Are you suggesting that this behavior is that of a well adjusted well-parented child? Racial epithets, profanity at his elders, threats and near-violence?

A well parented kid doesn't do this. I don't need to know what they did after the fact to punish him - it never should have happened.

I don't know the answer and I hope there are professionals that do. You cannot "make" someone apologize. I have a feeling there is more going on here than meets the camera.

OP is a real winner too, saying we should punish people for being witnesses

Didn't say that. Try again. People laughing at that situation and showing that level of disrespect to a teacher aren't being witnesses. They are both egging on the perpetrator and showing that something is fundamentally not wired right in their heads.

The kid should be expelled. No other kids should be punished and neither should the teacher.
