for those who might have bought them? hows the quality for the price? TIA...

edit: this is the one i was looking at...not sure if this was the one that everyone was talking about... is this one one the same? one is AT2002 and one is AT2002S

$80 for a 13" TV is about normal, you can get many brands for that price.

I paid $110 for a 19" orion TV from walmart (or was it $120?). There's a slight green spot in the lower right corner, but it's only noticible on white backgrounds or black and white shows. Other then that (I could have probably returned it, but you're not supposed to return them to the store and I didn't feel like shipping it out for a replacement) it's been great.

I'm kinda wondering the same thing. I'm in the market for a 20" flat screen tv and it looks like i'll have to spend about $300 for a Toshiba or Panasonic (before negotiations). Are the flat-screen Apex a lot worse?

I got the Apex 20" flatscreen from CompUSA for like $120 or something. It's actually not a true flatscreen, but the design makes it look like it really is.

I generally like it as it serves as my bedroom TV. do NOT make this your primary television. I just needed a cheep, bigger TV.

MY only complaint is the annoying sleep timer

I got the 20" Apex for $89 (the mono version) from Circuit City on Labor Day and it is great for the price. Not flat but good enough to watch some TV while working on the computer.

I bought one of these about a month ago from Walmart B&M at the same price. It was posted in the Hot Deals forum sometime ago. There's an Apex their too listed for $168. I guess its all preference.

well if they are the same quility as the Apex DVD's i say forget it. Spend the little extra and get a diffrent brand.

i would go with orion. i have a old VCR and its been working for like 10 years

when will vegas drop enough in price to make them affordable for a 2nd tv?
HeHe... I'd be willing to be that Sony will always keep their Wega TVs priced a little higher than the competition. However, The Panasonic Tau can often be found for about $100 less than the Wega and is also a very promising TV.

I made a vow never to buy another Sony Product after my Sony Spressa USB never worked. Lasted about 1 year until I bought my Clie, Playstation 2 and an Alarm Clock... 🙂
