Thats 2 bucks per ride not 4.

Cabs are not green last time I check.

Tourists look lost as usual and they get in my way while staring up to the sky.

Alec Baldwin for Governor???? never heard of that one! lol eh.. he's a long island boy so let him try.

As for that fog..boy was it thick. So far this winter has been kinda lame. Where's the damn snow??!! yes...i like snow.

yeah seriously... I turn on the evening news and it's murder/death/kill. I have the news on in another city for 4 years in Buffalo and it's mostly just current events and weather.

Other than that, NYC is still the best city between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

REALLY foggy.

REALLY REALLY foggy

Supposed to go into the 60s today but again, as usual, the weathermen were absolutely wrong. Its probably high 40s, low 50s at best.

They didn't hike up the per ride fare, but monthly passes going up to $77.
BTW the subway trains were totally messed up this morning, but that's not anything new.

Winter weather?? As was said above..its currently 52 degrees and was almost up to 60. Some winter. Still waiting for the first real snowfall..hasn't happened yet.

Yea..the MTA is hiking up the Metrocard weekly, monthly pass fares. What a joke..they are not even worth getting now unless you are a serious traveler or something.

even if you're a constant commuter, if you calc. your yearly expenses on the MTA against a yearly expensive for an automobile its about the same price.

car would also get you to your destination faster if you know your highways

I'm missing those fantastic steakhouses in Manhattan. Frankie and Johnnies, Ben Bensons, Sparks, Peter Lugers. Ah, I so wish I could be there again.
