I have an Athlon XP2400+ (non mobile) that is overclocked by 8mhz for some reason... (no complaints i guess?) It has a Volcano 7+ on it and my case only has one exhaust fan in the back and no intake. With the fan on low, the temp is 30C while idle and gets up to about 33C when under full load. Its not silent but its only one tier above it in noise level. If I want annoying noise and I pump it up to high and my temp sinks down to 29C. Are these good temps?

30C is a great Temp nothing to worry about there, you can run that up to 50C and be fine

i have a 2400+ mobile @ 2.3GHz 200x11.5 1.7V and its at 36C running SETI 24/7

30C is an excellent temperature, if you're rig can take it, definetly go for overclocking.

You must be running an ASUS motherboard. Those temps look suspiciously low and ASUS MBs are notorious for under-reporting temps. So, is this an ASUS board?

Really?

I had a ASUS board registering temps in the 55-low 60's C range for my old AXP 2400+.
