How are these temps. E8400

Im mildy oc'ing my e8400 its at 3.3ghz 366x9 and about 63c (both cores even) during orthos


edit -

coretemp is 63 underload, realtemp is always 10c cooler.
so 53 max underload on realtemp

I have an E8400 at 3.825GHz at my temps are higher than yours and I have no problems at all so I'd say you have nothing to worry about! Enjoy!🙂

might want to bump up the ventilation in the case. I was running my 8400 @ 4.050Ghz 1.20v 1.5v NB LLC enabled peaking around 64*c in 71*f ambients

As a new E8400 owner, I've noticed a number of posts stating that it is hard (or impossible) to get accurate temperature information from Core 2 CPUs. Do others in this forum find that to be the case w/ software like CoreTemp? If so, then I suppose it would be hard for the OP to really know what temp his E8400 is running at.

CoreTemp seems to display higher temps. Might wanna check out RealTemp as an alternative.

Set Tjunction Max to 100°C.

RealTemp and CoreTemp should have by default the Tjunction set at 100C. If you're getting different readings then one of them is an obsolete version.
