Hi all! :)

Well,my bro is gunna get me a Barton 2500+ cpu in exchange for my 8RDA+, 1700+, and some RAM, but anyways..

The seller told him the stepping was 0324 AQXEA, and im just wondering how these chips are doing for overclocking? Yes I've checked out a couple of CPU databases but most of the entries aren't specific of the week..

My system specs are:
  • NF7-S V2.0
  • 2x256Mb OCZ 'EL' PC3500
  • SLK-800A w/ 92mm Panaflo M1A
  • GF4 Ti 4400
  • Seagate Barracuda IV 60Gb
  • 300W PSU (<-- Gotta upgrade)

BTW: Going to be getting some new cooling equipment soon. SLK-900U and Vantec Tornado 92mm so cooling shouldnt be too much of a problem then.. :D

Thanks!

-Peter

Mine is running at 2.2 Ghz on default voltage. Temp rarely gets above 50 C. Temp in the room has to be above 28 C for the CPU temp to get above 50 C. And as you can see in my profile, on 1.750 volts I can get 2.3 Ghz out of it... but it's not worth the increase in heat... goes up to 66 C under load at that speed and voltage.

mine is struggling to exceed a 185mhz FSB, whereas my 1800+ TbredA was running 217 on a Chaintech 7NJS...

im REALLY bummed out, my last hope is to blow the L12 bridge with a 9v battery and switch it to a 133fsb....
