I've noticed some lag comparred to WinMe, specificailly in OpenGL games, but then again that was with the 1.00 version, I have the newest version with DirectX8, and haven't gamed in a while, so I'm not sure how the newest drivers are (hopefully an improvement, it's been long enough).

Win 2K drivers from 3dfx site are great, then you can also go to download.com and find the latest tweaks for your card. I am running a V3 3000 on a Win 2K box with a P II 400, 256 megs of ram, V 3 3000 AGP card at 1152x864 on 24 bit color and I can crank out about 45 fps in Quake 3. I also have the vodoo card tweaked up to 200 mhz with the tweaking kit from download.com

Please note that they really, really SUCK for glide. If I play a game in glide mode, it jerks quite a bit. The frame rate is usually livable, but there are these pauses every 2-3 seconds or so. The game just freezes for 1/2 a second. It makes the game really unplayable. I have noticed this in 3 games using glide, and as soon as I switch to D3D, it goes away.

My system is a p3-733 w 256 MB ram, so I doubt it is the system. The card in question is a V3-2000 O/C'd to 170 MHz.

EDIT:
That card is a PCI card, I am not sure if that makes a difference or not.
