How are the older (Air, Mini 2) iPads performing these days?

Are you using some type of third party utility to accomplish that? I don't think stock Android even gives you the option to install to SD cards anymore does it? Maybe I just missed something. I no longer have a phone with a SD slot so I can't test it myself.

*edit*

Looks like LP fixed some of the SD card issues I was seeing with KitKat. That is good to know.

You CAN use an app or just the built-in app manager to move apps to SD. And yes, LP did fix a lot of those issues which KK killed. I do use a 3rd party app so I can maintain multiple apps on the fly but it is not necessary to do so, just convenient.

My Air 32gb is snappy to me. I do some browsing, most streaming / media though. It does the notorious tab reloads a lot but not a big deal to me since it's not my main device.

Might upgrade to a Air 3 if something compelling enough happens.

My Air 16gb is perfect for I what I use it for: Netflix, Youtube, Google Apps, CBT Nuggets and a few time killer games.

When I first got it I thought that maybe 16gb was not going to be enough. But actually its fine for me.

If your in the market I would agree to wait for the Air 3. I do miss the fingerprint sensor that I have on my 5s. Which I do find super convenient.

I think I probably could live with the 16GB model as well, but it seems like the 64GB model is the smarter purchase. If I can get one for $487 on Saturday I probably will. Honestly that is more than I want to spend on a tablet though, so I am having some doubts. If I wait for the Air 3 chances are the 64GB model will be $599 and that is well outside what I am comfortable paying for any tablet that isn't a Surface Pro.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one of those. I figure if I don't like it I can always upgrade my daughter's iPad 3 with this one.

If I hadn't bought a retina MacBook recently, I would have jumped on this, great price.

Hope you like it 😀
