How are the Duron Notebook (Compaq) ?

My sister got her notebook stolen and she is looking for a new one. I'm looking at the Compaq Presario 710US. I'm wondering if it's a good choice. Any opinions?
 
I may be wrong but I have always thought the AMD notebooks were big. There is nothing wrong about it unless she needs something really mobile. Performance wise, they are very good for the price.
