Hmmmm... you didn't buy them from me, by chance? I just sold my set for $65. Yeah too cheap, but I wanted to get rid of them.

They are real good speakers. Probably the best 2.1 setups out there for the price.

The ACS495 are an OEM (specifically Dell) version of the ADA305. The only difference, according to Altec Lansing technicians, is that the ADA305 has a 20Watt subwoofer and the ACS495 has a 24Watt one. For this reason, I bought the ACS495 a while back, I loved those speakers. I just now upgraded to Klipsch ProMedia 2.1, but I still remember the ACS495 fondly. Not transparent like more expensive speakers, but warm and thoroughly enjoyable to listen to; the sidefiring tweeters strengthen the treble and midrange far beyond other speakers of comparable price.

I bought the ADA305 close to 3 years ago now. Liked them ever since and probably not going to change in the new future considering that I paied a fair bit for them back then :)
