How are the 12GB Reaper kits for overclocking i7-930?

I see it's actually the cheapest 3x4GB kit I've seen around, being only $400. How are these when I wanna OC a i7-930 to 4GHz?

Why not 6x2gb? Unless you plan on going 24gb in the future... >.>

Not at all. I have 12GB of Corsair Dominator 1600 set up as 6 x 2GB, and I can get to 4.2GHz on my i7 920 without any drama at all....stable as granite. But I run day-to-day at 4GHz, again, stable.

Depends a lot on your memory and motherboard.....and given OCZ's declining durability in their memory products of late, I'd honestly look elsewhere.

yeah... that's why they are cheaper than the rest!!! I would like the option to go 24GB in the future, but I'll stil with 12GB right now...
