You can probably get in, but I would take the SAT again.

Make sure to acknowledge and EXPLAIN the SAT score in your applications. If you don't have a good excuse, think of a plausible explanation. If possible, take it again and prepare so that you do substantially better.

You should try Arizona State, It seems like they let anyone in here. Seriously though coming here was the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. I pretty much slacked off in highschool so had like a 3.1 GPA and a 29 on ACT, I dont remember SAT though. I also had like no activities or Service. I feel that you should get into school based on how smart you are, not how much of a brown noser you are. Now its time to search for a new school, I think I am heading back to Sweet Home Chicago though. To many damn weirdos from Southern California here. I think the Southern California area sends all its rejects out my way
