I've used 1-800-Flowers a few times and they've seem to deliver right on time always... I'd say I've been satisfied with their service.Originally posted by: OS
The ones that deliver via fedex overnite and stuff. Are they any good?

How do they keep the flowers from wilting and drying up and stuff?
Lots of these places seem to contract out to local flower shops.Originally posted by: OS

The only beef I have for 1800Flowers is that they're kinda expensive... (then again I've never bought flowers at a local shop, so I really don't have much to compare with, but I just feel that $40 for a bouquet of roses is kinda expensive..)

in my experience (3 times) the online flower shops deliver flowers(roses) that are inferior to local shops. they are shorter and smaller with less garnish. for someone you really like, call a local shop.

doh, any idea how much a local shop is for a delivered item?
I'm not looking to send anything huge, maybe a half dozen roses, but I definitely want them to be nice.
