In theory, you don't have sex with an escort.

What theory is that?

The theory of relativity. You can escort your relatives anywhere, but you shouldn't have sex with them.

I've always wondered this - is there a legal difference? How are escort services even legal?

You saying it should be illegal to offer services as a professional date?

Now that they've shut down erotic services, it was bound to happen, someone started www.clerotic.org to take the place of craigslist erotic services

Actually, they're not really shut down. The Adult Services section is simply a toned down version w/o nudity in the images and more vague wording in the ads. However, it's essentially the same people posting the same ads.

I don't know why, all CL did was move it from "erotic" to "adult"

It's the exact same ads, with ever so slightly less detail.

edit: beaten by Kadarin... that guy knows his prostitution..

The ladies on Craigslist do not charge for sex - they only ask for 150 roses

They didn't shut down erotic services, they are charging a fee to post and are now screening every post.

That could be a fun job, if you are forced to reject a post, I'm sure you can "negotiate!" 😉

not much beyond one having an agency.
either way its better than street hooking. potential records prevent johns from simply being totally anonymous..makes hunting down killers and such easier.
so driving this stuff underground is stupid.
