How are Delta Power Tools

I have a delta table saw I bought used. Seems nice. I see a lot of other Delta tools on Craigslist. How is the overall tool quality?

I agree. I have a 20 year old unit that still works like a champ. I also have a 15 year old grinder that I use for ... grinding (sharpening lawn mower blades, etc.) and it too works great.

I read an article recently whereas I read that Delta was sold to a Taiwanese company last year so the quality of their tools may/may not be declining.

BTW ... when did Alky get back from vacation?

I have a bunch of Delta X5 tools. All good. Delta used to be the benchmark but nowadays I think their tools are outsourced overseas and seem to be much lower quality.

The Delta Tool manufacturing plant near my house closed down 6 or 7 years ago and sits empty. I guess they packed up and moved to China.
