seriosly i have no idea what the hell is going on with the memory prices. Its going down and down and down, i m not sure but it might get even lower. Not that i don't like the fact but i m confused spending so much a few weeks ago now get it for 50% off ?

Damn I know. A year ago I remember prices were much MUCH higher. I never thought that 2GB of RAM would EVER get below $100 but hot damn it has

Hah, it wasn't even a year ago.

It is nice though. We have cheap cpu's, cheap memory, cheap hard drives, but damn, we can't get some cheap video cards. WTF are your video cards, AMD? :|

the corsair xms set is very tempting now, i was going to buy it last week at 107 but held off, now it's at 96. maybe 80s are in sight? :D

The reason ram is dropping so low is because of a billion dollar suit.

A few high officers in Memory IC manufacturing companies are doing prison times, and the companies they worked for were fined a total of nearly 2-3 billion dollars for "price fixing".

Micron, Samsung, Elpida, Infineon and Hynix were all involved and all have executives pleading guilty.
