There are also a ton of stickied threads as well, which is just as annoying. But for this one, i agree with you.

There is a long running Gas thread in P&N, steer them there.

I could steer them via the Job thread which is going to be even more crucial as people will no longer be able to commute since there is either no gas available and they would not be able to afford it even if it was available.

OMG! Gas threads :|

If it takes a sticky to stop the over abundace of gas threads, then I will vote YES! Not that I want to see another sticky, but anything to stop the endless gas threads gets my vote.

:)

No offense mdchesne, but how are your threads in OT any better that "gas" threads?

I voted no, not because the topic is worthwhile but it will turn into another p&n flamewar which ot doesn't need. There are already enough p&n asshats venturing into ot culminating into three page quotes that turn the whole thread into a POS to try to read. Sorry folks but that is just my view, I came here to learn more than I currently know. FYI, I'm 45 yo, have been employed as mech., and electronics engineers before, but the type of BS this will bring may lead me elsewhere. See my small rant hereRant

The ratio of annoying stickies at the top to gas threads is unbelievably large. Therefore i vote yes for sticky.
