I think I have an invention called the drone killer. It's like a paint ball gun that you can use to shot these intrusive drones out of the sky. LOLA man fishing off of a pier in San Diego was not exactly pleased when he spotted a drone hovering above.
The unidentified man responded with a long cast that actually hooked the device!
Tice Ledbetter uploaded the video with the theme music from “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” playing in the background and wrote “What a jerk! Gotta admit though, that cast was spot on!”
The cast did not pull the drone to water or destroy it, but it did send a pretty clear message. The owner recovered it and had some untangling to do.
Ledbetter called the man a “jerk” for his cast, but the general consensus among Internet commenters is that the drone operator was in the wrong not the fisherman.
One commenter wrote “HOW DARE you call that man an a–hole! That guy is a legend!”
“The only a–hole here is the one filming. Great cast btw,” wrote another.
