i read somewhere (cant remember) that you can make an "uneditable" document similar to a PDF file without having adobe (or any other software).

anyone know how to do this??

yes...read only. it was posted by ben on bensbargains....but i cant find it there anymore....it was a many step process. it was however, not the same as the ms word password thing.

save as, tools, security options or save options. you can always find this stuff out by using help and typing read only😛
 
Uh, not using word? Right click the file, hit the check box "read only". Other then that it's not realy technicaly possible in most formats.
