My buddy is getting married next week, and so I've been tasked with planning the big party. We are going to eat at Churrasco's, then some bars/pubs, then of course a strip club. Its a Thursday night, so I want to go where there will be some good crowds. But I'm not from Houston, so I'm looking for ideas for bars/pubs and the grand finale. Any locals want to point me in the right direction?
 
I've never been to any of the strip clubs, but from what I understand, The Men's Club is one of the best.

Since you'll be here on a Thursday, you might want to hit up Sammy's and see the Spazmatics - could be fun, they're a good 80s cover band. Then head over to whichever strip joint you prefer.

Also depends on the type of pub/bar you want. Probably most of the popular places on a Thursday will be in Rice Village, as it's the most active college area. The Gingerman is awesome, they have a Little Woodrow's and a good brew restaurant called Two Rows.
 
Why the strip club? I don't understand why you need to go out with other guys and look at some tits. Doesn't seem like the right thing to kick off a long, happy and successful marriage.
