Housing starts at a 17 year high

More good news, too bad mine isn't one of them!

Traditional thinking is that the economy is always better after a war (I know, this wasn't a war), and that after a war, the United States goes into a period of isolationism. Looks about right so far. I hope that Wall Street can agree. I for one would like to see more money from my investments. Right now, with a dollar added to my profits, I could get a burger at Burger Doodle (no cheese)!

In Central CA where my folks live there is a boom in housing starts despite the economic troubles of that state.. In fact they are building two Spec Homes right now and they already have one sold and have offers on the other despite it not even having the foundation poured.
