<< i have a housemate that has no respect/consideration for others (leaves trash all over living room table and kitchen, turns the tv and music on full blast, etc...) >>

lol, are you my roommate?

<<i thought he was my friend, but i never knew he could be so inconsiderate>>
its amazing how u think some people will be alright, then they turn out to be such punks..
my roommate isn't as bad, but he's still hella inconsiderate. i just give him the cold shoulder and don't talk to him. good thing my other 2 roommates r cool though...

Tell him your on powerful psychotropic "be cool" drugs and as long as you take them you won't try to remove his liver.

I think the best approach would have been to talk about it before it got too late... lots of times these things happen and no ones does anything until it's too late... i would still talk it over with him and tell him what you think he is doing wrong ... but anyhow ... being that he should have moved rooms... you could have moved all his stuff outside and kicked it in the big room for the rest of the semester... if you could get the money out of him ... 550 for him and 350 for you sounds pretty good ... btw ... that's hella cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't pay your half of the rent until he coughs up some cash for the time he's imposed on your time in the big room, and tell him unless he reimburses you, you will live there rent free until the landlord kicks you all out. I'd do it in a heartbeat, since it's the only way you will actually get what you payed for, one way or another. He sounds like a real ass face, but not having a place to live or paying the rent by himself might shake loose his brainstem from his anus and get him thinking straight again. Good luck

<< buy some condoms squirt some lotion in them and throw 3 on his bed and 3 in front of his door
then leave a note on his door saying if he doesn't clean up you'll invite his mom over again
>>

<< Get a pair of rubber gloves and some super glue. While he is asleep glue his peewee to his belley so when he pees it hits him in the chin. >>

😀
This thread is almost as hilarious as the "post your best you're still a h0m0 pics" thread.
Seriously though, we've solved the roomate problem by sheer square footage. If his room is literally 2x the size of your room, he should be paying double the rent you are, so $300 you, $600 him. That might be a bit much though, I'd say go more like $350 you, $550 him.

more prices?

i just want assurance that me asking him to pay $525 and me $375 is not unreasonable, especially given the circumstances. thanks. (i pay $450 automatically since i signed the lease)
